blogger meet-up

just before i fall into bed: christina and her husband, rainer, and i had a very nice meet-up here in leipzig tonight. rainer treated us all to some very nice supper in the barfußgässchen. at first, we were at the kartoffelhaus for some wholesome german supper. of course, just as the name of the restaurant promotes it, all the dishes served included potatoes in some form or another. for desert, we went to the koffeebaum. europe's oldest coffee-house still in business.

though christina and i only met for the second time, i can say, it is always pleasant to see her. i only hope we didn't bore rainer out of his mind with all our talk about the various books we had read over the past year and other literature related topics.

hopefully, i will be able to return the visit at some time this year.
