birgit and major. what have you done to me? this starsky and hutch fandom is lethal -- a complete wackjob. i tell ya!!! though, i have to admit, i was already into the show some 17 years ago when it was still aired on german telly. proud member of team starsky then. proud member of team starsky now! hey, i gotta stick to my beuteschema... (and, no!, that's not dubya on the right, but roland totheroh!!!)

browsing the web today, i found an insane trivia page listing all the strangest occurances on the show. like 'starsky touches hutch', 'hutch touches starsky', 'they touch each other' and 'other body contact'. not to speak of the categories 'body count', 'what time is it?' or 'booze', 'drugs' and 'literacy'. honestly! and i thought i had too much spare time in my spare time. see for yourselves.

it's called, 'spot the chaplin!' and it is really easy. i give you a picture and you find the chaplin. it's a bit like where's waldo?

as many of you know, i don't own a telly set. well, ok, i can watch videos, but that old box doesn't catch any radio waves if i held it right up to the satelite dish. so when this afternoon i watched some programmes with my sister, i was constantly shaking my head over the mysogynist sexism that is broadcast during the afternoon hours. it is simply beyond belief what is sent over the air these days!

let's just hope things in real life will turn out as they did for matt santos. (although i wouldn have given senator vinick my vote for the simple, fangirlish reason that he was played by alan alda...)
